Committee Member since 16^th October 2007.  Worked at Snowdown Colliery as underground mechanic .  He Played for Snowdown Colliery at the age 16 years.  Educated at Aylesham Secondary School, Dover Tech and Canterbury Tech College 2006.

Mr Keith Owen

Position held since 13^th October 2010.               

History.

Committee Member Since 26^th March 2008.  Worked at Snowdown Colliery until it closed 1987.  Then moved to Betteshanger Colliery as the Material Officer till it closed 29^th August 1989.  Played football for Aylesham, Snowdown, Ramsgate and Gillingham.  Joined Aylesham Heritage Centre 2007.

History.                  

Worked at Pfizer Sandwich plant as a Senior Systems Administrator for 8 years.  Educated at Sandwich Tech and Canterbury College.  Mother of 2 independents.  Family background of miners.

History

Worked at Snowdown Colliery 1955 July Till 1984.  He was educated at Aylesham Secondary School.  Joined Aylesham Heritage Centre 2006.  Played Football for Snowdown and Gillingham.

Position:-   Tilmanstone Colliery Heritage Representative

History.

Researching the history and development of the old Tilmanstone Colliery and Elvington village. Both my father and grandfather worked at Tilmanstone Colliery for many years before closing in 1986.

All my family were miners at Snowdown.  Having walked from Yorkshire and Wales.  I am a Military Historian and Researcher for the Aylesham Heritage Centre.
